(The much-anticipated animated series, "Mellow Maromi," is finally making its television premiere. Miss Sagi, as the creator of the character Maromi, how do you feel as the big moment approaches?) "Well, um...Maromi's grown so much with all the love he's received...how should I put it? I hope the series will allow even more people to feel the sense of peace he's already brought to so many."

Episode 12 – "Radar Man"

(The response is amazing. How do you feel, are you at all surprised by it? Be honest, now. [-to cameras-] We have Miss Tsukiko Sagi here today. She'll be telling us about Maromi's creation. We'll learn the true origins of this popular character. But now, let's hear a brief update from the news department.) "..."

(We heard that you always liked to draw pictures ever since you were a child and that Maromi is modeled after the pet dog you had back then. As a special treat, she brought some of the precious illustrations she did as a girl. Oh, I see a few characters that look kind of like Maromi. Oh, this one looks almost like Maromi, doesn't it? Aha, and this one even moreso!) "..."

[-a meeting between Hatomura Shinsuke and the client seeking a new character passes while Tsukiko occupies herself with Maromi in her lap, sitting at her desk and not paying attention-]

(It's not your fault, Tsukiko!) "Huh?" (It's entirely his fault. You haven't done anything wrong at all. There. Go away! [-deletes the cartoon image on the screen-] You know I'm always on your side. It's okay, don't worry!)
